YYT has been fortunate to have Robert Papineau as our director since January 2008.

"Mr. Rob" spends his life in the theatre, specializing in the "Colorful Stuff:" the Classics, Children’s Theatre, Mystery or Fantasy. Rob’s played Dracula, Scrooge, The Wizard (of Oz), Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes), Oberon, Charlie Chaplin, the King of Hearts, the Camel with Wrinkled Knees, and old Lady Wishfort in The Way of the World. He’s directed young actors in Shakespeare, musicals, performed in Moscow, and taught Improv, Character Voice, and Street Theatre. His main venture, Pippin Puppets, presents live, original programs for kids across the state, with Rob playing, well, ALL the parts.
